The Mill is a small but growing internet web magazine focusing on current events and pblishing in-depth articles and commentary on political, social, and other issues. In December, 2000 unique visitors came to the site, up from 1000 in October.

Much of The Mill's traffic is Google-driven to stories within the site, so The Mill is currently selling advertising on a page-by-page basis.

For example, my "It's A Hummer World" story about energy efficiency gets about 180 visits per month, and since the traffic is search-driven and based on keywords, you can count on a certain demographic interested in energy-efficient cars, or perhaps energy-efficiency in general, visiting that page.

The Mill currently charges 15 cents per visit per month (vpm), based on previous month's performance, unless it's a special story that's particularly timely. 3-month rates are discounted to 10 cents per vpm. Below are some articles and their respective rates.

Two ads are included in the rate, one small ad to appear in the right-hand column, and one to appear at the bottom at the end of the story.
