The Mill magazine

Welcome to The Mill, a web magazine that churns out contemplative and critical articles on politics and current events.

David Maxwell Fine
Dave currently does the bulk of the writing, editing, and publishing for The Mill, though he's very pleased to have recently published a piece on an Iowa Caucus by one Mars Evinrude.

Dave got his start originally working at Dollars & Sense magazine and then moved on to The American Prospect. Afterwards he freelanced, writing for the Boston Globe, Mother Jones, and Salon.

These days, when he's not writing for The Mill, Dave designs websites and writes for the Toledo City Paper.

Maintaining The Mill is becoming increasingly labor-intensive: if you would like to invest in the cause, click here to donate via PayPal.

Here are some kickbacks: links to influences and independent media.
